Lavinia Stone Castle CardTuesday, 11 February 2020 | Admin
Stamps Used | Inks Used Other Tools | Instructions The background was created using Tim Holtz Oxide Ink Pads. To achieve it I used Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feathers, and Crushed Olive. The colours were distressed into each other using Ranger's Cut n' Dry and then finally I splashed a small amount of water and left it to dry but if you are in a rush you can dry it using a heat gun. Once the background had dried I took my Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad (which is perfect for stamping detail images!) and stamped the Stone Castle. I then took a piece of photocopy paper and ripped it to create a hill effect using Tim Holtz Distress Black Soot and Cut n' Dry. At this point I stamped the Dragons, Tree of Faith and Wild Vines. So finally the last thing left was the moon and to achieve this I cut a round circle out of some paper, but if you have a punch or a small circle die these can be used as well. I then placed the circle where I wanted it and distressed around it using Tim Holtz Oxide - Peacock Feathers, which created the moon. Finally I went all the way around the card and distressed the edges with exactly the same colour as i used for the moon. |
